Churchill Square names new centre director
Brighton shopping centre Churchill Square has appointed Mark Buchanan Smith as centre director.
Prior to joining Churchill Square, Buchanan Smith was retail delivery and technical services manager at Hammerson. His appointment marks a return to Churchill Square as he previously held the position of assistant centre director where he worked closely with retailers.
Buchanan Smith said: “It’s a fantastic time to be re-joining Churchill Square. The centre is undergoing an exciting transformation with the Western Road frontage improvements, incorporating the new Topshop. There will be also be new names joining the list of leading retailers such as Holland & Barrett, Kiko and Schuh Kids.
“These are exciting times for the centre and I look forward to getting to grips with my new role and contributing to the continued success of Churchill Square.”
