Cheltenham High Street gets a New Look

Aviva Investors, represented by international real estate advisor Savills, has let 103 - 109 High Street, Cheltenham to New Look.

The fashion retailer has taken a unit totalling 32,000 sq ft (2,973 sq m) over three floors and will pay £325,000 per annum on a 10-year lease. The store will be a flagship for New Look replacing its existing Cheltenham outlet and is strategically placed in a high footfall area adjacent to HMV and the Beechwood Place Shopping Centre.

Amanda Herron of New Look, comments: “New Look are delighted to have finally secured a re-site in this key market, that will enable us to deliver a full and exciting offer for our customers, the new store will open in time for Easter this year.” Savills will shortly be bringing to the market the former JJB store located adjacent to the New Look store at 101 High Street, Cheltenham. It features 3,800 sq ft (353 sq m) and is arranged over two floors.

Alan Elstob, Director at Savills, adds: “The arrival of a major New Look store, together with nearby developments, presently in the pipeline, will re-invigorate this section of Cheltenham High Street and redefine it as a fashion location.”
