Channel 4 to launch weekday cookery programme with Ocado

Channel 4 is to launch a new weekday cookery programme in partnership with online supermarket Ocado.

Launching on 13 October at 10am, Daily Brunch with Ocado will be a weekday extension of Channel 4’s popular Sunday morning flagship show Sunday Brunch and will be presented by Sunday Brunch hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.

The series will offer a mixture of recipes, celebrity guests and regular items in the Sunday Brunch style.

Lawrence Hene, Ocado’s director of retail and marketing, said: “We’re passionate about food at Ocado but cooking should be fun and we hope that mixing delicious recipes with Tim and Simon’s legendary charm will inspire viewers to try something new in the kitchen.”

Dom Bird, head of formats at Channel 4 added: “We look forward to welcoming Tim and Simon onto Channel 4 from Monday to Friday to give current fans and a whole new audience a weekday serving of Daily Brunch with Ocado.”
