CBS Outdoor moves into retail

CBS Outdoor is to manage advertising at Westfield London, the capital's largest ever luxury shopping complex.

CBS Outdoor, part of the worldwide media and entertainment giant CBS Corporation, has a strong heritage in retail advertising in the US and Ireland, however the win of Westfield marks its first move into the domestic retail sector. CBS Outdoor will manage all interior digital and traditional advertising formats at Westfield's flagship £1.6bn development at White City. Launching for Christmas 2008, it will be Greater London's largest shopping centre, with 30 million people expected to visit it every year. The centre has been designed as the ultimate upmarket shopping village under one roof, with valet parking, luxury outlets of high-end stores such as Louis Vuitton, 40 restaurants, a 14-screen cinema and a health club.

CBS Outdoor is charged with installing and marketing a state-of-the-art range of advertising signage within Westfield London. A network of LCD screens and video walls will be situated in major walkways throughout the centre, providing an attractive canvas for advertisers.
