Cabot Circus over 90 per cent let with eleven more retailer signings

Monday June 16th 2008

American Apparel, Bank, Bench, Cult and Henleys lead urban fashion lettings at The

Circus

Bristol Alliance partners, Land Securities and Hammerson, have secured another eleven

retailers to Cabot Circus, the one million sq ft retail and leisure destination set to open in

Bristol city centre in

September this year.

Leading the charge are urban fashion brands American Apparel, Bank, Bench, Cult and

Henleys, all of which will be opening for the first time in Bristol city centre within The Circus

element of the scheme.

Ollie & Nic, the handbag and leather fashion accessories retailer, has also signed up to the

scheme, and will be opening its fourth standalone store in the UK at Cabot Circus.

Fashion jewellers Swarovski and Thomas Sabo, greetings card retailer Thoughts, and

health food retailer Holland & Barratt are among the latest lifestyle retailers to have agreed

to take stores at Cabot Circus. Millies Cookies has also signed up to join the growing lineup

of food and catering operators already committed to the scheme.

Keith Stone, Bristol Alliance Leasing Director, commented:

“These latest signings to cutting edge street brands is clear proof of Bristol's growing

importance as a major new location for retailers. We are already over the 90% let by

floorspace milestone, and anticipate that the scheme will be at least 95% let by the time of

its opening.”

Opening in September 2008, Cabot Circus is one of the highest profile mixed-use

developments in the UK, and will provide high quality retail and leisure uses, apartments,

offices and public spaces totalling 1.5 million square feet in the heart of the city.

Joint letting agents for the scheme are DTZ and Lunson Mitchenall.
