Argos arrives at Longwater Retail Park in Norwich

Archived article dated Thursday December 4th 2008

Royal London Asset Management, advised by Savills, has pre-let Unit A1 at Longwater Retail Park in Norwich to Argos.

The retailer has agreed a new 15-year lease on the unit totalling 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m) and will pay an annual rent of £15 per sq ft (£141 per sq m), equating to £150,000. Dominic Rodbourne, associate director at Savills, comments: “Bennetts Electrical and Raspberry Village opened at Longwater Retail Park in 2007, so we're delighted to further improve the tenant line-up with the addition of Argos.

“We are now marketing the final unit which extends to 10,000 sq ft and will sit alongside the new Argos store.”

Joanna Latham, Fund Manager at Royal London Asset Management, comments: “We welcome Argos as they will further enhance the retail offer at Longwater Retail Park and increase footfall to the benefit of all our occupiers.”
